So, as most of you already know, Maleyna Elizabeth Klinedinst was born on January 29th, 2010, weighing in at 6lbs, 12oz and 20in long. She was beautiful and perfect and I'm already so in love with her. My stay in the hospital was pretty uneventful. Had a lot of visitors which was nice. Pat wasn't able to spend the last 2 nights with me because Andrew was having a hard time not having either of us around, so Pat stayed at home to help him. I don't think I've ever been so excited to come home as I was when I left the hospital. My family is now complete and I was sooo excited to see my first baby and introduce him to his little sister. He squealed when we walked in the door and immediately wanted to rip the blanket off of the carseat. He smiled and stared at her touched her. I don't even remember if he said anything but now all he says is that she's cute, and that she's his. He loves to hold her, and feed her, and burp her. He's totally adorable with her, and an amazing big brother.
The first night at home went really smoothly. She only woke up to eat twice and went right back to sleep each time. She's such a good baby. She hardly ever really cries. She stays awake for hours at a time but she just lies there looking around. No fussing or anything. She amazes me.
The second night... not so fabulous. Pat ended up in the hospital for what we thought was an allergic reaction. I couldn't go with him, obviously, so I was really upset about that. The next morning they did a spinal tap and decided that they wanted to admit him, because they found blood in his spinal fluid and wanted to find out why. He's still there, and they still haven't really done anything. Apparently our insurance doesn't pay for the MRI in the hospital, so he has to get one somewhere else. So they're just waiting around to hear from them. Ugh. But, he does get to come home today so that's good.
All in all my first few days home have been decent. She makes things so easy. I was just hoping Daddy would be here to enjoy it with us. He will be home the weekend though, he can't do any long driving or any lifting. Oh the joys of not having money! At least our tax return will be here soon. Although it will be gone as soon as it hits the card. Why? Because we have to pay the down payment for our car! Yay! I can't wait to have our own car.
So, I guess that's about it. Being a mommy of 2 is amazing, I love both of my babies sooo much. My family is now perfect and complete and I couldn't be happier!
Mixed emotions.

So, in a little less than three days, I'll be a mommy for the second time. I'll finally have my little princess! I'm sooo excited. But, with excitement, I have so many other emotions. I'm definitely scared. Not just for the surgery, but knowing that I have to find a way to split my attention between both of my babies and do my best to make them both happy. I don't want to favor one over the other, or pay more attention to one, although I know Mally will need a little more attention in the beginning. I'm scared that I won't love her as much as Andrew, although I'm pretty sure that won't be an issue. I'm happy because I've wanted a girl so bad, and I'll have her now. I'm happy because my little family will be complete. I'm happy because I'll have another little angel to cuddle and play with and take care of. Andrew is so excited to be a big brother, he loves to lay on my belly and kiss her and talk to her and feel her move. Hopefully he's still excited once she's actually here! :P
Ya know, I never thought I would get married or be a mommy so young. Sometimes I wish I would have waited, but then I look at Andrew and I know it's all worth it. He can be a little monster sometimes but he knows exactly how to make me smile and forget whatever bad thing he's just done. I love watching him grow and develop and I can't wait to do the same with Maleyna. It's hard, I won't lie. Once you have kids most of your friends sort of disappear, probably because they know you can't just go out and do whatever you want. I've been able to make an amazing new friend, Tara. She's the same age as I am and her daughter is 9 months old, so she goes through the same things I do. Plus, my husband and her boyfriend are bi-polar, so we relate in that way. I've been spending a lot of time with her and we've gotten reeeally close and I'm very thankful for that. And I met another friend through her, Sacrena, who is equally as awesome. It's nice having friends that understand. Plus it's adorable to watch Andrew play with little Brianna, he loves her to death! But I miss all my old friends a lot, like Felicia and Angell and Angela and my whole Parkville crowd. But, I guess people get older and move on and I'm at least thankful I still get to talk to them even if I don't see them as much as I'd like!
Anyhow, much needs to be done to get ready for the baby and it won't happen if I'm on here. <3

So, I figured I'd make this blog to keep people (that want to read, anyway) up to date with Andrew and soon, Maleyna! They grow so fast so it's hard for me to tell everyone what new things they're up to and whatever. As of now, Andrew is doing really well. It seems like when he turned 3, his whole demeanor changed. He's much nicer and it seems like he's actually a lot smarter, too. And very excited about his little sister! She'll be here on Jan 29th, if not sooner. I've been having a lot more Braxton Hicks contractions and I can feel her lowering. I want her here, but I also hope she can hold out until Friday when everybody took off of work. A lot of people think I should have tried to go natural but, I have my reasons for wanting a scheduled c-section. Either way, the only thing that really matters is that she's healthy. I can't wait to meet her!
